Marie Cantone, the founder of Medicare Made Easy, is a licensed insurance professional for over 15 years.   The focus of Medicare Made Easy is to help families make the appropriate choice when they purchase Medicare supplement plans, advantage plans and prescription drug plans.  Marie’s clients tell her she has the ability to make a complicated subject easy to understand.  They feel confident they have chosen the best insurance for their unique needs.

Marie is a sought-after speaker for Medicare insurance and special needs planning. Her article, “A Historic Day: The Celebration of Downs Syndrome,” was published in New York Parent Magazine in 2012. Marie is a contributing author to a best seller, “Journey to the Stage.” Her story has been included in Ambassadors of HOPE (Help One Person Everyday) which is something Marie exemplifies in her commitment to make the world a better place.

Marie has been on the board and an active volunteer for 22 years with Camp Northstar. She was previously on the board of Toys of Hope and was an officer on the Board of Directors for The Long Island Way. Marie is an active member in many networking groups. She is an Executive Board member for the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition (SCWBEC).

Marie was recognized with the “2010 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year,” by The Long Island Way. Marie was awarded a proclamation from Suffolk County for her significant contributions to the community in 2015.

In 2013, she launched Changing Hands, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Changing Hands promotes self-confidence for special needs individuals. It provides volunteer opportunities to people with disabilities, giving them an opportunity to lead fulfilling lives by being contributing members of society.
